How it works
One order in, one video out
Order is paid
Shopify tells your automation tool.
Video is made
MsgVibe puts the customer’s name, your offer and your brand into the design.
Customer gets it
An email with the video page, about a minute later.
You see results
Views and clicks per customer; a click can start a follow-up.
Way 1 · easiest
With Zapier
No code. Two Zaps: one makes the video, one sends it.
- 1Add MsgVibe to your Zapier account from the MsgVibe for Zapier page and create an API key under Dashboard → API keys.
- 2Zap 1. Trigger: Shopify → New Paid Order. Connect your store and test it with a recent order.
- 3Action: MsgVibe → Create Personal Video. Fill the fields by picking order data from the list:

Pick a thank-you or offer design from the list

- 4Test the step (it makes one real video, 1 credit) and publish the Zap.
- 5Zap 2. Trigger: MsgVibe → Video Ready. Action: Gmail → Send Email (or Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Shopify Email). To: Metadata Email. Body: a short line and the Share Url. Publish.
Way 2
With Shopify Flow
Free with Shopify. Flow sends the order straight to MsgVibe.
- 1In Shopify admin, open Flow and create a workflow with the trigger Order paid.
- 2Add the action Send HTTP request:

- 3Paste this body and replace the two IDs and your store address. If Flow marks a variable as unknown, pick it again with Add a variable.Body for Shopify Flow
{ "templateUniqueId": "YOUR_DESIGN_ID", "brandKitId": "YOUR_BRAND_KIT_ID", "aspectRatio": "9:16", "currency": "USD", "promotion": { "title": "Thank you, {{order.customer.firstName}}!", "subtitle": "Order {{order.name}} is on its way", "offerText": "Use THANKS10 for 10% off your next order", "cta": "Shop again" }, "sharePage": { "headline": "{{order.customer.firstName}}, thank you for your order", "button": { "kind": "link", "label": "Shop again", "url": "https://yourstore.com" }, "recipient": { "name": "{{order.customer.firstName}} {{order.customer.lastName}}", "email": "{{order.customer.email}}" } }, "externalId": "order-{{order.name}}" } - 4Turn the workflow on. To email the finished video, add a Video ready hook under Automations that points at your email tool's webhook, or use Zap 2 from way 1.
Using Make or n8n instead? The same request works there: see the Make guide and the n8n guide.
Make it pay
Four ways stores use it
Bring them back
Put a code that expires in the offer line, for example “THANKS10, valid 14 days”.
Only where it matters
Add a filter: first order only, or order total above an amount. One credit goes further.
Ask for the review
Send a second video a week later with the button “Leave a review”.
Follow up on clicks
Start a Zap from Video Button Clicked to tag the customer as a repeat-buyer lead.
Other ways to connect: Zapier app · Make · n8n · API reference
